Spring Blooming Flowers 6-1-2013

I’ve wanted to branch out to include cool, non-flower things… These cones are such a vivid magenta in person. My Galaxy 2 phone doesn’t represent. I will be upgrading to the 4 soon as my carrier sold hear & I need to get new service. I here the camera is the bomb.

Pinus abies cones

Japanese painted fern – Athyrium niponicum ‘Pictum’

These fronds are so beautiful!

Mexican Heather – Cuphea hyssopifolia
Another tropical for our customers pots.

Fuchsia – Fuchsia triphylla

Gardenia – Not sure of specific species.

When I lived in Florida, I had a large gardenia shrub outside of my bedroom window. When it bloomed, I was in heaven. I would pop the blooms off and float them in bowls all over the house.

Azalea – Didn’t catch the species.

Azalea x Golden Lights

Enjoy the day & keep on planting!
