Humming Bird Moth aka Common Clearwing (Hemaris thysbe)

We were amazed at how many of these cuties were flying around this section of the Reed-Turner Woodland Nature Preserve. They are feeding on Impatiens capensis (Spotted Touch-me-not or jewelweed)

It was the first time I’ve seen these in real life, they were amazing to watch.
