Reed – Turner Woodland Nature Preserve

Last Saturday we had some beautiful weather. I had to get out to walk off some pent-up emotions. I’ve not been to this nature preserve for awhile, so I decided to drop on by.

This is a small, 36 acre preserve that was donated to the Long Grove Park District by Barbara Reed -Turner in 1973. There is a pond, creek and many oaks.
