Pigeons

Fuchsia Magellanica – Hardy Fushsia

Very interesting. This is hardy to zone 5, with a bit of winter mulch.

Chlorophytum comosum – Spider plant

It’s been a while since I’ve seen one blooming.

Didn’t remember this one.

Tradescantia zebrina – Wandering Jew

Here’s but one of the legend

The original legend concerns a Jew who taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion and was then cursed to walk the earth until the Second Coming. The exact nature of the wanderer’s indiscretion varies in different versions of the tale, as do aspects of his character; sometimes he is said to be a shoemaker or other tradesman, while sometimes he is the doorman at Pontius Pilate’s estate.

  1. I like the pink and white annuals, very pretty, and the purple and red fuchsia, I had the same one, till LM shook it out of its pot one day – it didn’t survive! Still looking pretty summery πŸ™‚

    • Awe! We’ll have to create a ‘dog safe plant’… we’ll make millions. .. Riiiiight.
It’s a great time of year. It’s about 68 daily, the vampire mosquitoes are gone and mostly sunny. Yes. Some things still blooming. . I’m coming close to not having blooming posts daily. .. All good things must come to an end. ..

    • I do see a few here and there, however I used to see tons of ’em as a child. We used to collect the cocoons off the milkweeds and watch them emerge. It was like a monarch snow storm when they all took off. Ah, those were the days…. Sigh.
