Obnoxious Dog Ball From Hell – Its Baaaaack!

This crazy, squeaky ball will not die. I thought over the winter this ball would disappear. However, Breck just unearthed it from the snow today. He brought it into the house to thaw, as it was frozen solid. I told my husband that we need to remove it before it thaws and in less that 3 seconds it expelled its first squeak. Out it went.

  1. Stephen King was right… sometimes they come back… like the ole stinky ball from easy… I mean he destroys ALL things, why not this dirty ball beast? a miracle…. and that this ugly mud-ball always lands in our bed is just weird… ugh :lo)

  2. REVENGE! The ball says “That’s what you get for leaving me out in the snow!!!” I’d be so tempted to take a real nice sharp knife to that thing but then I wouldn’t be able to if my dog loved it so much, I’d feel guilty. Ahh, a double-edged sword. I feel fortunate my dog doesn’t like to obsess over obnoxious toys. πŸ˜‰

              • Oh gosh, you know I’ve actually worried about the fact that squeaky toys can encourage the hunting instinct in dogs so it’s not good my bird sounds like it. But my dog is pretty well seasoned when it comes to them and she’d rather run away from them, once in a while leaning in for a sniff.

I don’t have a recording of it but I have been thinking I’m going to do more posts about them, I just have to get my experience up with working with video. I do have some funny ones I want to share. Sooner than later it’ll happen. πŸ˜‰

                • Some dogs just don’t have the ‘kill’ instinct. My dogs are more curious about things and would approach cautiously. I was able to avoid a skunk spray when my boys had the skunk on 2 sides, a standoff. I calmly called my boys and they came and Mr. Skunk AND his smell waddled off. Whew! Right b4 bedtime. Didn’t want to deal with that @ 10pm!
I’m looking forward to seeing the videos! My blogger friends always have the coolest stuff to share and it’s fun to look into their world πŸ˜€

                • Wow you were lucky! I had to deal with just that last summer at about 9-9:30. Of course I had to put her back in the house b/c I couldn’t leave her in the yard lest she go after the darn thing again!

Blogger friends are interesting indeed. πŸ˜‰
