  1. Awesome!! I was just wondering yesterday when you’d start the Blooming Flowers again πŸ™‚ Two years to link to! Quite an achievement! πŸ™‚
Lovely to see all these spring blooms. The violets in the rain drops are particularly pretty πŸ™‚

  2. Oh, you guys have violets out! I walked around my parents’ house on Friday specifically to see if their flowers were out (now that I am an apartment dweller), but they were not. By Saturday, the daffodils were out. I am guessing our violets will be out shortly (if they aren’t already). I know they are sort of weeds, but I just love them.

  3. Oh so wonderful! I love all these early bloomers, they’re so heartwarming. I have a pink Magnolia tree in my yard and I smile every time I look at it. It makes me feel special. πŸ˜‰ All of these that I planted did not survive last year’s make over after the Maple was cut down. Fortunately I have you pics to enjoy and many that are occurring around me in the wild, or my neighbor’s yard. πŸ™‚

Btw, I didn’t see this post in my reader and I’m not sure if you’ve gotten any of my posts. I know in the past when I’ve made changes to my site you’ve not received the ‘follow’ posts so I thought I’d just check in quick like. I’m gonna do some catching up on your post here real soon. πŸ˜€

    • OK ~ Total Weirdness going on!!
I went to your site to see where I may have gotten lost (ie) when I stopped getting your posts and it was right after the book review. So, I read the orchid / CBG post and tried to post a comment.. DENIED! Bummer, it tells me java is not enabled, however I’m all java-d – up here (giggle). Anyway! I’m confused.
Here was my comment FOR YOU: (at least I had the sense to c&p it!)
These were all so beautiful!! I do love the yellow one that won the award. I couldn’t imagine a corsage made of these, wouldn’t they be way too fragile? I guess women were more fragile back then also πŸ˜‰
So, YES! I have no idea about my following status =(
I have seen your posts in my reader at one time, however they only show a snippet and (via my phone WP app) doesn’t connect for me to read the rest. I preferred to get your posts via email, as then I can link to your real page. Last one I rad was the book review. Looks like a few more I need to catch – up on also. Weird!! don’t know what happens.
I need to figure out how I did that, sign-up email wise!!

      • Hey thanks for all of that! That is definitely weird. I’ve changed my theme a few times in the last month cuz I need some woocommerce compatibility for when I sell my book (future = books) on my site so I’m wondering if that’s where things got weird. Then today – I wouldn’t doubt right when you checked – I changed again for a reason that turned out to be related to something other than the theme. Gosh, am I confusing… Lol, so maybe try again with the comments? Thanks again though!

And yes it does seem that some orchids wouldn’t make great corsages but I do think way back in the day girls were probably a bit more well-behaved. πŸ˜‰

        • Gaaa! OK. Still not working. I had tried at work and now I’m home. Frowny face!
This is what it told me:

I have java in both ‘puters. I click on the link and it turns into a smaller version of your website, very odd. I’m bummed. I will have to be sure my java is updated, etc. Stay tuned!

          • Thanks for all your efforts. I’m gonna see what’s up on my end too. Seems really odd given you checked on both computers. Sorry for all the trouble, but again thank you. πŸ˜€

            • I am on my phone now. This one does not have java, however this is how I’ve normally read/commented on your posts in the past. I DID get the post in my email today! Great post! That is a plus. I was able to read it, just not comment. Same outcome. “Java not installed. ..”
