Spring Blooming Flowers 4-17-2017

Looks like things are starting to pop here in the Midwest! I’m guessing I’ll be able to post at least once a week in the Phenology section. Last year, I attached quotes related about TIME with these posts. I’m not sure what I’ll do yet, However I’ll entertain any ideas =-)

  1. Beautiful, and a lovely flutterby to boot!

I’m in Northern Arizona now, and am seeing flowers I have literally never seen before. I have photos, need to go to the books.

I was lucky to be in the Sonoran Desert, right next door to Saguaro National Park, when the desert woke up to the fact that the winter here was very wet…and it exploded! I have never seen such a proliferation of Compositae. That’s a big theme in the Southwest in general, but it’s like, how many billion kinds of sunflowers can you think up??? I guess I should post some pictures…

    Enjoy your Spring πŸ˜€

  2. Paul got me flowers and my dad cut me dozens of daffodils for Easter – it was absolutely beautiful inside the house this weekend. And outside, the daffodils were in full form and the tulips have started! Spring is happily here.

As for potential quotations, don’t ask me, or you’ll get something like “alcohol” or…”alcohol.”
