Centaurea cyanus ~ Cornflower


Digitalis grandiflora ~ Big flowered foxglove    ||    Philadelphus coronarius ~ mock orange


Dahlia      ||       Lillium ~ Lily


Don’t know     ||     Stachys byzantina ~ Lamb’s ears

Hosta ‘Big Daddy   (best guess)

Aruncus dioicus ~ Goat’s beard

  1. Love the shot of daisies and tickseed ~ even though this is the first time I’ve seen or heard of tickseed.
    Obviously we don’t get that in England, but we do get oodles of daisies. ❤ ❤ 😉


    • Coreopsis or tickseed are pretty common around here. They come in a few different colors also. They are particular where they want to grow… often dying where you planted it and popping up in a different section of the yard they like better.


  2. Tickseed and daisies are my favoriute. Wish I could get my hands on some native Goat’s Beard vine. This one looks like a shrub. I adore Goat’s Beard. It grows in Central Texas but not in abundance along fields and roads.
