We leave today for Door County, Wisconsin to enjoy our long Independence day weekend. Door County is a quaint, little peninsula located between Green Bay and Lake Michigan. My husband came here every summer as a child, as for me, I’m a virgin… Blush. 😉 I am so looking forward to this trip!
There are so many fun things to do here. We’re going to kayak, there’s a Jens Jensen established school of art here, a dog beach, wineries, and so much more. I’m sure I’ll blog once or twice about it 😉

Good ‘ol Stella d ‘Oro Hemerocallis ~ Daylily
Nice mix of shady variegated leaves | This is in my shade garden and every year it stumps me… Valeriana officinalis ~ Garden valerine
“Picture for a Pup-peroni?” That’s the phrase that produces this cute face.
